OBITUARY...
Darrell Hoyer died in Fort Collins, Colorado, on April 23, 2015, with his wife Marty Hoyer and their two dogs, Jade and Amber.

He was born on March 28, 1950, to LeRoy and Julane Hoyer and grew up in Rapid City, South Dakota. He lived in Fort Collins for 15 years.

Darrell loved skiing in the Colorado Rockies and Big Sky Montana and taught Marty and all his family how to ski. He enjoyed the outdoors with his dogs and family, including golfing, hiking, camping, backpacking and canoeing. He and Marty took many road trips with their RV to beloved old as well as to new and exciting locations. Darrell was a gifted petrophysicist and was considered one of the best in his field by his customers and work associates.

Darrell was preceded in death by his parents and brother David and is survived by his siblings Sandra, Cynthia and Dan. He was loved and respected by his family and friends and will be forever missed.
