OBITUARY...
Alma Faye Reder, 62, of Rapid City passed away on July 3, 2013 after a long battle with cancer.

Alma was born on October 9, 1950 to Florence E. (Heller) and William Hallet Reder in Rapid City. She attended schools in Hill City and Rapid City, graduating from Rapid City High School in 1968 and USD Vermillion in 1972.

In 1974, Alma married Robert Johnston. She was employed at various jobs in Montana, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii and at SymCom in Rapid City until 2007. Alma loved nature, taking wonderful wildflower photos, camping in the Big Horn Mountains at any time of the year and kayaking in the rivers of Montana.

She enjoyed her family and is survived by her son, Oatin Johnston of Rapid City; her sisters, Ida (Casey) Krogman of White River and Mata (Pat) Baker of Hermosa; her significant other, Roy Julius of Rapid City; five cousins; and five nieces and nephews. There will be a family memorial service at a later date.
