OBITUARY...
Remembrance of Jeannie, From Gary.
Jeannie passed away at the age of 62. She was always uncomfortable with people praising her, so I will attempt to honor her without making a list of her accomplishments.
Jeannie loved art and it was the center of her life. She would paint over paintings numerous times until it was just right. She created wonderful pieces of art.
Most of Jeannie’s career was in graphic art, creating designs for organic and natural food companies. She needed to be creative, so this was a perfect career.
Traveling was a big part of her life. She enjoyed seeing many of the interesting places in the world. At the same time she loved her home in Portland, and Bend Oregon.
Jeannie had the kind of personality that still lives on in people. You can always pick out sayings and behavior that friends still emulate.
She was the best.
Jeannie was cremated, and ashes placed at her grandparents graves in Deadwood and at a especial place at Mt. Bachelor near Bend. We didn’t have a family. We were on the go non-stop, so hard to really settle down, No regrets. We sold our home in O\Portland, but I go back often.
