OBITUARY...
Susan passed away November 29,2016 with her family by her side after a very long fight with cancer.

She was born February 7, 1949 in Rapid City, SD to Donald & Evalyn Houk.

She met her future husband, Ken in 1971 on an airplane and they married November 21, 1972. Susan & Ken came to Spokane in 1974 to attend the Worlds Fair They decided that this is where they would like to spend their life & moved here in 1976. Susan was a stay at home mom to her 2 sons, & helped Ken with his landscaping business. She later became a hairdresser.

She enjoyed camping, gardening, canning, making wine & sharing it with her friends & family. She received multiple awards at the Spokane Interstate Fair for her wines.

Susan is survived by her husband Kenneth, sons Jeremiah & Benjamin; mother Evalyn; brothers Don, Doug & Jerry; sister Leslie; & 4 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father Donald & sister Pam. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 17, at Unity Center of North Spokane, 4123 Lincoln Rd, Spokane, WA at 10 am.
