OBITUARY...
Mary Lou Lipp, 59, Rapid City, SD passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at the Rapid City Regional Hospital.
Mary was born September 13, 1949 in Deadwood, SD to John and Esther (Klingman) Lipp. She grew up in Rapid City and attended St. Johns Elementary School and graduated from Rapid City High School in 1968. After high school, she was employed by the City of Rapid City and most recently she was employed by various casinos and the Ramkota Hotel.
Survivors include her son, Shawn Lipp, Rapid City; mother, Esther Lipp, Rapid City; brothers, Donald Lipp, Kenneth Lipp, Tim Lipp, John Pat Lipp, all of Rapid City, Jim Lipp, Reno, NV; sisters, Therese Lipp, Rapid City, Joanne Golden, Shawnee, KS; many nieces and nephews; and friends who were very special to her.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Lipp.
A memorial has been established.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at St.Therese The Little Flower Catholic Church, 532 Adams St., Rapid City with Father Bill Zandri officiating.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial has been established to the Rapid City Club for Boys.
