OBITUARY...
Gail Ann Powers, 54, Rapid City, died Sunday, Sept. 12, 2004, at Meadowbrook Nursing Home.

Gail was born March 26, 1950, in Rapid City to Robert and Bonnie (Smith) Powers. She attended school in Rapid City and graduated from Rapid City High School in 1968.

Gail enjoyed traveling and meeting people and making friends along the way. Her free spirit was abundant in her poetry and her love for motorcycle riding. She will be missed by her family and many friends.

Gail is survived by two sisters, Maureen (Jagan) Kaul, Roseberg, Ore., and Nancy Powers, Rapid City; three brothers, James (Barbara) Powers, Michael Powers, and George Powers, all of Rapid City; and several nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Bonnie Powers and her sister-in-law, Vickie Powers.

Memorial services will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 15, at Behrens-Wilson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Leroy Flagstad officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date. Condolences may be conveyed to the family at www.behrenswilson.com. Behrens-Wilson Funeral Home is in care of arrangements.
