OBITUARY...
Memorial service for Alfred Thompson will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Jared Tucher officiating. On November 6, 2020, Alfred Thompson, loving husband and father passed away at age 71.
Alfred was born on February 13, 1949 in MN to Victor and Christa Thompson (Goritz). He grew up in Rapid City, SD, and lived the last half of his life in Gillette, WY. He and Adelia “DeDe” (Miller) were married for 51 years, and they raised three daughters together. He was a mechanic and liked to fish, camp, read and watch action movies. He was a quiet, generous man who loved spending time with family and his pets.
He is preceded in death by his father, Victor.
He is survived by his wife, DeDe; his daughters, Becki (Mike); Christa (Jeff) and Beth Ann, grandsons, Tyler (Rachel) and Alex, great-granddaughter, Charlotte, his mother, Christa, brothers, Kenneth, Raymond and Dave, and his Sister, Vicky.
