Partner Doug and I are both retired. He about 20 years ago, and me, maybe 10? I tend to forget these things. My goal is to continue the plan of buying a new car every 20 years whether I need it or not. 1980 Fiat Spyder, then a 2000 Volvo wagon. Suggestions for 2020 are welcome. We live simply. Flannel shirts. Levi jeans. And sadly, a diminished view of Seattle due to the amazing level of construction. We call it the Amazon Crane Forest. C'est la vie.
Update for 2021. My partner, Doug, passed away in January. We had 40 pretty good years as a pair. Never bothered to marry. We were too cheap to pay for a marriage license! UPDATE for 2023. Bought a different unit in my building...better view...another bedroom. Still learning how to live as a single old man.New photo is me at a bech in Seattle...yes, we have beaches in Seattle
