We had a nice turnout for coffee this month.  I didn't even get a phot of the full box donuts before classmates started to grab their favorites. Thanks Sanda for the Donuts and Gary for the Chocolate candy, love the salted caramel.  President Jim Quinn gave us an update on "Cobbers Helping Cobbers" and will be posting more information in the BOD news. We just relaxed the enjoyed the hour catching up on our lives.  We would love to see a new face join us!

Even though several classmates have gone South for the winter, we had a good turnout for our coffee connection.  It was nice to see a few classmates that we had not seen for awhile. Attending were… Mary Beth Johnson (Howe), Al Murchison, Paul Jensen, Pat Muldoon (Countryman), Alan Dubbelde, Greg Scott, Tom Collins, Tin McMahon, Colleen Marvin (Wright), and Sandra Lashley (Yeoman).  We have a reserved room at Starbucks the first Wednesday of every month and we have room for more! Please consider joining us.

Classmates present were, Sandra Lashley (Yeoman),  Alan Dubbelde, Mike Brummer, Randy Knago, Mike Brummer, Colleen Thovson-Schweitzer, and Al Murchison (Mary Beth, behind the camera), We decided to have our September Wednesday coffee meeting at the Canyon Lake Park East Shelter off Park Drive. We had such a good time last year,  we wanted to try it again.  Bring your chair and cup of coffee, we will have the donuts!

Happy 70th Birthday Party to the class of 1968.  Thanks to Sandra for hosting this event at Canyon Lake Part. Love the Donut Cake.  We had a great turn out and the weather was just right!

Vickie Berendse (Chase) and her husband hosted a BOD Christmas Party. Thank you Vickie, what fun!  The ladies really enjoyed the tour of your home and the stories behind all your Christmas decorations. The Guys, well they headed downstairs to the man cave! Thank you both, what a treat!

It sure would be nice to see more area classmates attend.

We had a full-house and with just a little over a week to go, I was asking for help and assigning tasks! It was a great meeting with good coffee!  There will be several more silent auction items and within the last two days, we have had 10 more people sign up. I hope that number will go up some more! Go Cobblers, it is close to PARTY time!

We had a roomfull of classmates at out coffee time, but I forgot to take a picture! Nancy Hemming (Grass) was at our coffee, her family lives in CA, but they are looking to moving back to this area.  Thank you Gary Larson for inviting her to our coffee group, sorry you could not make it. We also had Jerry Thovson join us and hopefuly we will see him again before he heads south.  The nice surprise was to have Al Murchison back at our coffee meeting!  It has been a tough medical year for him, so please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

Located between two of the world's largest and most famous sculptures, Mt. Ruchmore and Crazy Horse, Hil City is the logical spot for the "Sculpture in the Hills Art Show & Sale."  Twenty five artists together under one tent. It's your change to meet and talk to the artists! Gary Auch and Twyla Knutson stop for a picture by one of the sculptures.

After the last two COLD months, we had a nice size group for coffee in April and next month with the snowbirds back out, the group will grow.  BUT... we always have room for more classmates to join us!!

Downtown Art Walk was a fun activity for girls to meet and renew friendships!
